This month we focus on the top attorneys in Knoxville and provide the opportunity for them to be recognized by their peers. We received hundreds of survey submissions, and many of the names we all hear often. We welcome old and new members alike to this year’s list of Knoxville’s Top Attorneys.
In keeping with the legal theme of this issue, Knoxvillian Jon Pirkle pens a piece on the recent D.C. gun ban decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.
Whether you believe in guns or not, any day that the highest court in the land recognizes the personal rights of Americans is a good day.Like guns, many people may consider lawyers a necessary evil. The only thing worse than a country full Lawyers is no lawyers at all. This month I take a “fair and balanced” look at personal injury lawyers and what they mean to our society. If you have read any of my previous articles, you already know that “fair and balanced” is not my forte. To strike that elusive balance, I gave 1,000 words to a friend of mine, personal injury lawyer Brett Buchheit. Who better to stand up for personal injury lawyers than a personal injury lawyer?
From everyone at CityView, I hope that you enjoy our efforts this month and we look forward to seeing you between the pages in our back-to-school issue next month. As always, please keep the letters and comments coming all of them, pro and con alike, are more appreciated than you know.
Best regards,
Creed
