Cityview’s annual Best of the Best issue has evolved—we think for the

better—over the years. this year, we took a bold step: no paper bal- Number of
lots. i was concerned when we made the decision to eliminate paper; nominees

would we get enough participation from our readers online? Would on the ballot
anybody vote? i needn’t have worried, as Cityview readers voted—and 8,175

voted and voted. an astonishing 192,000 votes later, we had our win-
ners. thanks to everyone for participating in this year’s Best of the

Best voting.

i always enjoy letting our winners know about their recognition from
Cityview readers. What is better than appreciation from your peers and of votes cast

customers? as i talked to our winners this year, i started to wonder:
What drove them to be the Best of the Best?

Tenacity, in my opinion, is the most important ingredient if you want

to become the best at what you do. Who succeeds as Best of the Best? Most popular
those who are tirelessly persistent, doggedly determined, and willing
category
to be steadfast at the helm when all others fall behind. it’s inspiring to
watch people work who are consumed with passion for what they do.
